A popular script on SkitGuys.com for the last few years has been Melinda Whitten's Have No Fear script in which a woman has a conversation with Fear. We thought it would be fun to interview Melinda and learn more about her script and why she wrote the skit.

Who doesn’t love to be comfortable? We devote our time, money, and energy keeping it that way. If it’s hot in the summer I turn on the AC. If it’s cold in the winter I crank up the heat, lest I begin to feel uncomfortable. My closest friends tend to be those I feel the most comfortable around. And there’s nothing wrong with being comfortable—the problem is when we become too comfortable. God didn’t create us just to be comfortable. He calls us to live for something much bigger.
