Tommy Woodard

Tommy Woodard’s career in storytelling started around 1975 on the front porch of his childhood home, where his older (and bossier) sister Debbie would cast him in homemade plays. They’d invite their parents, neighbors, and even strangers walking by to sit in the yard and watch their “masterpieces.” Tommy kept performing through high school theater, where his favorite thing was disappearing into different characters—because it turns out that’s not just a phase… it’s a calling.

For decades, Tommy has created faith-based comedy and stories that have reached audiences through stage and screen. He starred in the feature film Family Camp, a faith-based family comedy released in theaters nationwide on May 13, 2022, and he also appeared in the 2024 feature film The Forge. Today, Tommy continues creating new work through 231 Collective—building projects that use humor, story, and art to encourage people and point them to what’s true. He also serves as a pastor at New Church in Oklahoma City. Tommy lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife.
